
German shipping giant Hapag-Lloyd’s Container Ship fleet has exceeded 2.4 Mteu of total capacity. The world’s fifth-largest operator has a fleet of over 300 vessels.
While the majority of them in terms of vessel count are chartered, Hapag-Lloyd’s owned tonnage represents 59.1% of its total capacity.

Meanwhile, chart-topping MSCCargo‘s fleet continues expanding, with 915 vessels overall now on the verge of 6.6 Mteu of combined capacity, or about 20.5% of the global total.
